University Culinary Services is the largest employer of students at Sonoma State, employing over 400+ employees at any given time and hiring more than 200 new student employees each semester. Many of our employees stay with us through their academic career. Becoming an employee of University Culinary Services often proves to be an enhancement of a student’s college experience. Successful employees learn responsibility, direction, and customer service skills while enhancing their interpersonal skills. In addition, work schedules are flexible to accommodate class schedules. Students hired into the program become a part of our Culinary Services family. Each of our student employees has left an indelible impression on our full-time culinary staff.
Available Positions May Include: Cashiers, Runners, Chef’s Assistants, Dishwashers, Bakers, Waitstaff, Bussers and Event Staff
The first step is to fill out the Application for Student Employment below. Once completed, employment applications can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, faxed to (707) 664-2233, or delivered to the University Culinary Services office on the 2rd floor of the Salazar Hall, 2nd Floor, Suite 2050.
Note: Applicants who are hired will need to furnish documents to verify employment eligibility. These documents must be in their original hard copy format. A list of acceptable documents can be found in Human Resource's acceptable document file.
